Biography
Yanar Mohammed (* 1960 in Baghdad; † March 2, 2026 in Baghdad) was an iraqi feminist and women's rights activist. She was 66 years old. She studied at University of Baghdad. Her awards include Gruber Prize for Women's Rights, Rafto Prize and BBC 100 Women. Her cause of death was gunshot wound.
