In loving memory of Peppino di Capri (1939–2026). 🕯️ Italy’s voice of summer died yesterday at 86 on his home island of Capri. He brought the twist to Italy, stormed the German charts with “St. Tropez Twist” in 1962, opened for the Beatles on their only Italian tour — and won Sanremo twice.
