Abbas Kiarostami (* June 22, 1940 in Tehran; † July 4, 2016 in 14th arrondissement of Paris) was an iranian film director, screenwriter, photographer and film producer. He was 76 years old. He studied at University of Tehran. He received 9 awards, including Konrad Wolf Prize, Praemium Imperiale. His cause of death was stomach cancer.
