Biography of Abbé Pierre

Abbé Pierre (* 5. August 1912 in 4th arrondissement of Lyon; † 22. January 2007 in 5th arrondissement of Paris) was a french Catholic priest. He was 94 years old. He studied at Capuchin Friary. His faith was Catholicism. He received 10 awards, including Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour, Croix de guerre 1939–1945. His cause of death was pneumonia. He was buried at Esteville.
