Biography of Abdi İpekçi

Abdi İpekçi (* 9. August 1929 in Istanbul; † 1. February 1979 in Istanbul) was a türkischer Journalist. He was 49 years old. His education included Galatasaray High School, Istanbul University Faculty of Law and Istanbul University. He worked at Milliyet. He was awarded the International Press Institute World Press Freedom Heroes. He was buried at Zincirlikuyu Cemetery.
