Biography of Abel Lefranc

Abel Lefranc (* 27. July 1863 in Élincourt-Sainte-Marguerite; † 27. November 1952 in Paris) was a französischer Romanist, Literaturwissenschaftler und Historiker. He was 89 years old. He studied at École des chartes. He worked at Collège de France, École pratique des hautes études, Archives nationales and Bibliothèque Mazarine. He received 9 awards, including Prix Thérouanne, Commander of the Legion of Honour.
