Abraham Lempel (* February 10, 1936 in Lviv; † February 3, 2023) was an israeli computer scientist. He was 86 years old. He studied at Technion – Israel Institute of Technology. His awards include Paris Kanellakis Award, IEEE Richard W. Hamming Medal and Rothschild Prize.
