Biography of Aksel C. Wiin-Nielsen

Aksel C. Wiin-Nielsen (* 17. February 1924 in Græsted; † 26. April 2010 in Frederiksberg) was a danish meteorologist. He was 86 years old. He studied at University of Copenhagen. He worked at University of Michigan, University of Copenhagen and Danish Meteorological Institute. His awards include Buys Ballot Medal, International Meteorological Organization Prize and Wihuri International Prize.
