Alain Corneau (* August 7, 1943 in Meung-sur-Loire; † August 30, 2010 in 13th arrondissement of Paris) was a french film director. He was 67 years old. He was married to Nadine Trintignant. He studied at Institut des hautes études cinématographiques. His awards include Louis Delluc Prize, César Award for Best Film and César Award for Best Director. His cause of death was lung cancer. He was buried at Père Lachaise Cemetery.
