Alain Resnais (* June 3, 1922 in Vannes; † March 1, 2014 in City of Brussels) was a french film director. He was 91 years old. He was married to Florence Malraux and Sabine Azéma. His education included Institut des hautes études cinématographiques and Cours Simon. His faith was atheism. He received 8 awards, including Golden Lion, United Nations Awards. He was buried at Montparnasse Cemetery.
