Biography of Alan Ward

Alan Ward (* 11. June 1935 in Gisborne; † 12. December 2014 in Newcastle) was a new Zealand historian. He was 79 years old. His education included Australian National University and Victoria University of Wellington. He worked at La Trobe University, University of Newcastle and University of Papua New Guinea. His awards include Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit and honorary doctor of Victoria University of Wellington.
