Biography of Ales Bachyla

Ales Bachyla (* 2. March 1918 in Liešnica; † 4. January 1983 in Minsk) was a belarusian poet. He was 64 years old. He studied at Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University. He worked at Litaratura i mastactva, Polymia, Mastatskaya Litaratura, Nastaŭnickaja hazieta, Literaturnaya gazeta and Belarus. His awards include The Honored Figure of Culture of Belarus, Order of the Red Star and Order of Friendship of Peoples. He was buried at Eastern Cemetery.
