Alexander Arutiunian (* 23. September 1920 in Yerevan; † 28. March 2012 in Yerevan) was an armenian composer, pianist. He was 91 years old. His education included music vocational school named after Alexander Spendiaryan and Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory. He received 10 awards, including State Stalin Prize, 1st degree, Order of the October Revolution. He was buried at Komitas Pantheon.
