Biography of Alexander Terentjewitsch Matwejew

Alexander Terentjewitsch Matwejew (* 13. August 1878 in Saratov; † 22. October 1960 in Moscow) was a russischer Bildhauer. He was 82 years old. He was married to Zoya Matveyeva-Mostova. He studied at Saratov Art School. His awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945" and Honored art worker of the Russian Soviet Federative Socialist Republic. He was buried at Novodevichy Cemetery.
