He was 79 years old. His faith was Russian Orthodox Church. He received 6 awards, including Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 1st class, Order "For Merit to the Fatherland", 2nd class. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Yelokhovo Cathedral.
