Biography of Alī Akbar Hāschemī Rafsandschānī

Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani (* 25. August 1934 in Nuq District; † 8. January 2017 in Tehran) was an iranian politician. He was 82 years old. He was married to Effat Marashi. His education included University of Qom, University of Isfahan and University of Tehran. His faith was Shia Islam. His awards include Order of Fath and honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Behesht-e Zahra.
