Biography of Ali Mazrui

Ali Mazrui (* 24. February 1933 in Mombasa; † 12. October 2014 in Vestal) was an amerikanisch-kenianischer Hochschullehrer und islamischer politischer Schriftsteller. He was 81 years old. His education included University of Manchester, Nuffield College and Columbia University. He worked at Harvard University, Binghamton University and University of Michigan. His faith was Islam. His awards include Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences, Distinguished Africanist Award and Order of the Companions of O. R. Tambo.
