Alphonse De Leyn (* 8. October 1839 in Bruges; † 28. September 1902 in Bruges) was a belgian historian, priest, teacher, school director and canon (1839 - 1902). He was 62 years old. He studied at Catholic University of Leuven. He worked at Klein Seminarie Roeselare and Sint-Lodewijkscollege. His faith was Catholic Church. He was awarded the Knight of the Order of Leopold.
