Alpik Mkrtchyan (* 16. February 1937 in Tsaghkunk; † 22. October 2019) was an armenian physicist. He was 82 years old. He studied at Yerevan State University. He worked at Yerevan State University, Institute of Applied Problems of Physics of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, National Polytechnic University of Armenia and Tomsk Polytechnic University. He received 8 awards, including Medal of Anania Shirakatsi, Order of the Badge of Honour.
