Amos Oz (* May 4, 1939 in Jerusalem; † December 28, 2018 in Tel Aviv) was an israeli writer, novelist, journalist and intellectual. He was 79 years old. His education included Hebrew University of Jerusalem and Gymnasia Rehavia. His faith was Judaism. He received 10 awards, including Prize of the International Book Fair in Torino, Bialik Prize. His cause of death was cancer. He was buried at Kibbutz Hulda Cemetery.
