Biography
Amotz Zahavi (* August 14, 1928 in Petah Tikva; † May 12, 2017 in Tel Aviv) was an israeli evolutionary biologist. He was 88 years old. He was married to Avishag Zahavi. He studied at Tel Aviv University. His awards include Israel Prize, International Prize by Fyssen Foundation and Israel Society of Ecology and Environmental Sciences Lifetime Achievement Award.
