Ana María Matute (* 26. July 1925 in Barcelona; † 25. June 2014 in Barcelona) was a spanish writer. She was 88 years old. She was married to Ramón Eugenio de Goicoechea López. She received 10 awards, including Miguel de Cervantes Prize, Saint George's Cross. Her cause of death was myocardial infarction. She was buried at Montjuïc Cemetery.
