Biography of András Hajnal

András Hajnal (* 13. May 1931 in Budapest; † 30. July 2016 in Budapest) was an ungarischer Mathematiker. He was 85 years old. His education included University of Szeged, Eötvös Loránd University and Berzsenyi Dániel Secondary School. He worked at Rutgers University, Eötvös Loránd University and Alfréd Rényi Institute of Mathematics. He was awarded the Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
