Biography of Andrea Camilleri

Andrea Camilleri (* 6. September 1925 in Porto Empedocle; † 17. July 2019 in Rome) was an italian writer. He was 93 years old. His education included Accademia Nazionale d'Arte Drammatica Silvio D'Amico and University of Palermo. His faith was atheism. He received 7 awards, including Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, Silver Medal of the Italian Order of Merit for Culture and Art. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Protestant Cemetery, Rome.
