Andrei Zelevinsky (* 30. January 1953 in Moscow; † 10. April 2013 in Boston) was a russisch-US-amerikanischer Mathematiker. He was 60 years old. His education included MSU Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, Lyceum "Second school" and Lomonosov Moscow State University. He worked at Schmidt Institute of Physics of the Earth, People's University, Cornell University and Northeastern University. His awards include Humboldt Prize, Steele Prize for Seminal Contribution to Research and Fellow of the American Mathematical Society.
