Biography of Andrew Benson

Andrew Benson (* 24. September 1917 in Modesto; † 16. January 2015 in La Jolla) was an uS-amerikanischer Biochemiker. He was 97 years old. His education included California Institute of Technology and University of California, Berkeley. He worked at University of California, Los Angeles, University of California, San Diego and University of California, Berkeley. His awards include Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, Ernest Orlando Lawrence Award and doctor honoris causa from the Pierre and Marie Curie University.
