Biography of Andris Slapiņš

Andris Slapiņš (* 29. December 1949 in Riga; † 20. January 1991 in Riga) was a soviet camera operator and film director. He was 41 years old. He studied at Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography. He worked at Riga Film Studio. He was awarded the Order of Viesturs. His cause of death was gunshot wound.
