Biography of Andrzej Alexiewicz

Andrzej Alexiewicz (* 11. February 1917 in Lviv; † 11. July 1995 in Poznań) was a polnischer Mathematiker. He was 78 years old. His education included Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences of University of Lviv and Lviv University. He worked at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Lviv University and Rudolf Weigl Institute for Study of Typhus and Virology. He was awarded the Stefan Banach Prize. He was buried at Jean-Marie Vianney cemetery in Poznań.
