Anne McCaffrey (* April 1, 1926 in Cambridge; † November 21, 2011 in Newcastle) was an american-Irish novelist. She was 85 years old. Her education included Radcliffe College, Harvard University, Stuart Hall School and Montclair High School. She received 10 awards, including Margaret Edwards Award, Hugo Award for Best Novella. Her cause of death was stroke. She was buried at Wicklow.
