Anton Khizhnyak (* 8. December 1907 in Zachepylivka; † 15. October 1993) was a soviet writer. He was 85 years old. He studied at H.S. Skovoroda Kharkiv National Pedagogical University. His awards include Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of the Badge of Honour and Medal "For Valiant Labour in the Great Patriotic War 1941–1945".
