Biography of Arif Babayev

Arif Babayev (* 20. February 1938 in Sarıhacılı; † 1. August 2025 in Baku) was an azerbaijani singer. He was 87 years old. He studied at Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts. He worked at Azerbaijan State Philharmonic Hall and Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theater. His faith was Islam. He received 9 awards, including People's Artiste of the Azerbaijan SSR, Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR. His cause of death was heart failure. He was buried at Alley of Honor.
