Biography of August Sang

August Sang (* 27. July 1914 in Pärnu; † 14. October 1969 in Tallinn) was an estnischer Lyriker. He was 55 years old. He was married to Kersti Merilaas. He had at least 2 children (2 daughters). He studied at University of Tartu. He received 4 awards, including Honored Writer of the Estonian SSR, Juhan Liiv Poetry Award. He was buried at Vana-Pärnu cemetery.
