Biography of Axel Munthe

Axel Munthe (* 31. October 1857 in Döderhults parish; † 11. February 1949 in Stockholm) was a schwedischer Arzt und Autor. He was 91 years old. He was married to Hilda Pennington-Mellor Munthe. He had at least 1 child (1 son). He studied at Uppsala University. He received 10 awards, including Royal Order of the Polar Star, Royal Order of Vasa. His cause of death was tuberculosis.
