Bahgat Osman (* 6. June 1931 in Bulaq; † 3. June 2001 in Cairo) was an egyptian cartoonist and illustrator, most widely known as for his political cartoons and children's book illustrations throughout most of the Arab world.. He was 69 years old. He studied at Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University.
