Barend Biesheuvel (* April 5, 1920 in Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude; † April 29, 2001 in Haarlem) was a prime Minister of the Netherlands. He was 81 years old. He was married to Mies Biesheuvel-Meuring. He studied at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. He was awarded the Commander of the Order of the Netherlands Lion. His cause of death was stroke. He was buried at Algemene Begraafplaats Bloemendaal.
