Biography
Baruj Benacerraf (* October 29, 1920 in Caracas; † August 2, 2011 in Boston) was a venezuelan-American immunologist. He was 90 years old. His education included Columbia University, Columbia University School of General Studies and Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine. He received 7 awards, including Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine, honorary doctorate from Columbia University. His cause of death was pneumonia.
