Basil Poledouris (* August 21, 1945 in Kansas City; † November 8, 2006 in Los Angeles) was a greek-American composer, conductor, and orchestrator of film and television scores. He was 61 years old. He was married to Bobbie Poledouris. His education included University of Southern California, California State University, Long Beach, USC Thornton School of Music and Bob Cole Conservatory of Music. His cause of death was cancer.
