Biography of Belisario Betancur

Belisario Betancur (* 4. February 1923 in Amagá; † 7. December 2018 in Bogotá) was a former President of Colombia. He was 95 years old. He was married to Rosa Helena Álvarez Yepes. He studied at Pontifical Bolivarian University. He received 5 awards, including Collar of the Order of Isabella the Catholic‎, Princess of Asturias Award for International Cooperation. His cause of death was kidney infection.
