Biography of Benny Golson

Benny Golson (* 25. January 1929 in Philadelphia; † 21. September 2024 in New York City) was an american bebop/hard bop jazz tenor saxophonist, composer, and arranger. He was 95 years old. He studied at Howard University. His awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and NEA Jazz Masters.
