Biography of Bernard Germain Lacépède

Bernard Germain Lacépède (* 26. December 1756 in Agen; † 6. October 1825 in Épinay-sur-Seine) was a französischer Naturforscher, Opernkomponist und erster Großkanzler des Ordens der Ehrenlegion. He was 68 years old. He worked at University of Paris. His awards include Grand Cross of the Legion of Honour and Fellow of the Royal Society. His cause of death was smallpox.
