Biography
Bernd Eichinger (* April 11, 1949 in Neuburg an der Donau; † January 24, 2011 in Los Angeles) was a german film producer, director, and screenwriter. He was 61 years old. He was married to Katja Eichinger. He studied at University of Television and Film Munich. He received 6 awards, including Bavarian Order of Merit, German Film Award. His cause of death was myocardial infarction. He was buried at Bogenhausener Friedhof.
