Bertrand Tavernier (* April 25, 1941 in Lyon; † March 25, 2021 in Sainte-Maxime) was a french film director. He was 79 years old. He was married to Colo Tavernier O'Hagan. He had 2 children. He studied at Lycée Henri-IV. He received 9 awards, including Louis Delluc Prize, César Award for Best Original Screenplay or Adaptation. His cause of death was pancreatitis.
