Biography of Bharati Mukherjee

Bharati Mukherjee (* 27. July 1940 in Kolkata; † 28. January 2017 in Manhattan) was an indian-American writer. She was 76 years old. She was married to Clark Blaise. Her education included University of Calcutta, Loreto College and Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Her faith was Hinduism. Her awards include Guggenheim Fellowship and National Book Critics Circle Award for Fiction. Her cause of death was takotsubo cardiomyopathy.
