Bob Brookmeyer (* December 19, 1929 in Kansas City; † December 15, 2011 in New London) was an american jazz valve trombonist, pianist, arranger, and composer. He was 81 years old. He was married to Margo Guryan. He was awarded the NEA Jazz Masters. His cause of death was heart failure.
