Brand Blanshard (* 27. August 1892 in Fredericksburg; † 19. November 1987 in New Haven) was an american philosopher. He was 95 years old. His education included Harvard University, University of Michigan College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, Columbia University, Merton College and University of Michigan. He worked at Yale University, University of Michigan and Swarthmore College. He received 5 awards, including Guggenheim Fellowship, Fellow of the British Academy.
