Biography of Brian Friel

Brian Friel (* 9. January 1929 in Omagh; † 2. October 2015 in Greencastle) was an irish dramatist, author and theatre director. He was 86 years old. His education included Ulster University, Maynooth University and St Columb's College. His faith was Catholic Church. He received 4 awards, including Irish PEN Award, Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature. He was buried at Glenties.
