Bruce N. Ames (* December 16, 1928 in New York City; † October 5, 2024 in Berkeley) was an american biochemist. He was 95 years old. His education included California Institute of Technology, Cornell University and Bronx High School of Science. He received 10 awards, including Canada Gairdner International Award, Tyler Prize for Environmental Achievement.
