Burhanuddin Rabbani (* September 20, 1940 in Fayzabad; â September 20, 2011 in Kabul) was an afghanistan politician, former President of Afghanistan. He was 71 years old. His education included Kabul University and Al-Azhar University. His faith was Sunni Islam. He was awarded the Order of Ismoili Somoni.
