Carel Vosmaer (* 20. March 1826 in The Hague; † 12. June 1888 in Montreux) was a dutch lawyer, court clerk, art historian, art collector, writer and poet. He was 62 years old. He studied at Leiden University. He was awarded the D.A. Thiemeprijs.
