Biography of Carl Jacobsen

Carl Jacobsen (* 2. March 1842 in Copenhagen; † 11. January 1914 in Frederiksberg) was a dänischer Brauer, Kunstsammler und Philanthrop. He was 71 years old. He was married to Ottilia Jacobsen and Lilli von Kohl. He had at least 3 children (2 sons and 1 daughter). He received 5 awards, including Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog, Decoration of the Cross of Honour of the Dannebrog. He was buried at Jesuskirken.
